SAMSUNG GEAR FIT VS. SAMSUNG GEAR FIT 2 – WHICH ONE FITS YOU RIGHT?

We have to agree that Samsung has invested a lot of money into its wearable devices. The company is also releasing new smartwatches very often, but now it’s also trying to claim Fitbit’s territory with the new Gear Fit 2.

Specifications

First of all, let’s talk about the specifications that the Samsung Gear Fit and Samsung Gear Fit 2 come with:

Samsung Gear Fit:
– Weight: 28 grams;
– Display: 1.84-inch;
– Processor: 180MHz ARM Cortex M4;
– Bluetooth: 4.0;
– Battery: 210 mAh;
– Sensors: Accelerometer, gyroscope, heart rate monitor;
– Color: Black.

Samsung Gear Fit 2:

– Weight: 28-30 grams;
– Display: 1.5-inch;
– Processor: 1GHz Exynos 3250;
– Bluetooth: 4.2;
– Battery: 200 mAh;
– Sensors: Accelerometer, gyroscope, heart rate monitor, barometer;
– Color: Black, pink, blue.

Design
Without any doubts, the Gear Fit 2 looks smoother and sleeker. First of all, the screen flows with the silicon band and it looks more a like a fashionable wearable device. The display on the Gear Fit 2 has double the width of the Gear Fit 2, which means that you can read fitness information easier and clearer.

Water Resistant
The Gear Fit 2 has an IP68 rating, which means that if it rains or if you drop it in the bathtub, the wearable device will be fine. However, you would not want to go into the pool with it, as it is not made to track swimming. The Gear Fit has an IP67 rating, which means that the Gear Fit 2 is better when it comes to water resistance.

Battery

The Gear Fit 2 comes with a less powerful battery (200mAh), while the Gear Fit has a 210 mAh one, but that doesn’t mean that this model will not stay alive longer than the Gear Fit. According to reports, the Gear Fit 2 is able last three days on a single charge, while the Gear Fit needs to be charged every night. source

IPHONE 7 AND GALAXY NOTE 6 TO HAVE DUAL-LENS CAMERA

The rivalry between Apple and Samsung is nothing new, except that something new always comes up that fuels the fire. The latest is about the dual lens camera that is rumored to be a feature in iPhone 7. Recent reports out of Korea indicates that Samsung will also use the same camera feature with its upcoming phablet.
But 2016 happens to be the year of a dual camera, so it’s not a surprise that both the iPhone 7 and the Samsung Galaxy Note 6 will join the dual-camera bandwagon. Besides, the camera technology has proven to produce better photos taken from a smartphone. Many mobile phones already excel in this feature, but they can certainly do better.
In a report in Engadget, compact camera design house Corephotonics demonstrated the difference that a dual-lens camera can make when integrated with a smartphone. The long and short of it is that you get the same high quality photos whether you zoomed in on a subject or not. This is made possible with the use of two lenses with different focal lengths – wide angle and 3x zoom. With this technology, you can easily switch lenses without the need for a digital zoom.
Given such features, Apple and Samsung won’t be wrong by using a dual-lens camera. But all these are just rumors based on unconfirmed reports.
  • iPhone 7 cases produced by third-party manufacturers have a wider camera space, most likely to pave way for the dual-lens camera
  • Zol, a Chinese news source, claims that SEMCO, Samsung’s Electro-Mechanics arm, is working on a technology based on Samsung’s own sensor design.
Will both companies make a big deal out of this? It won’t be the first or the last. Because, as early as now, there are already rumors that the iPhone 8 will have a curved screen design that is similar to that of theSamsung Galaxy S6 Edge and the S7 Edge.
Between the iPhone 7 and Galaxy Note 6
The iPhone 7 is rumored to have a storage space starting at 32GB up to 256GB. With apps getting bigger in size, and photos of a dual-lens camera requiring more space, 256GB as a top-tier option definitely makes a lot of sense.
Samsung Galaxy Note 6 will have a 6GB RAM, and a brand new Qualcomm Snapdragon 823 processor. It will have two internal storage options – 64GB and 128GB UFS 2.0.
But a stark difference between the two is that the Galaxy Note 6 is said to be dust and waterproof, and the name is likely to be switched to Samsung Galaxy Note 7, according to rumors. source

IS THIS THE FIRST OFFICIAL SAMSUNG GALAXY NOTE 7 PHOTO?

Everyone is ready for the presentation of the brand new Samsung Galaxy Note 7. And in case you are wondering why it isn’t namedGalaxy Note 6, Samsung will apparently skip the name to align the new line to its Galaxy S family.

So, This Is How Galaxy Note 7 Will Look Like

We have the first ‘official’ image of the new Galaxy Note 7 model. And what do we mean with ‘official’?
Well, the image appears to be taken in a professional way – in a similar style to how Samsung takes images when presenting their new smartphones. Originally found by NowhereElse, the leaked image was posted on Twitter and it clearly aligns with the rumors – presenting a large number 7 and a text saying ‘The Next Note’ below it.
See it for yourself below:
galaxy 7 note the next
Although there are no markings that the image comes from Samsung directly, we can definitely agree that someone with basic skills could have created this.
Only to find out a more accurate mobile leak of the new Galaxy Note 7, looking like this:
galaxy note 7 leaked
And this:
galaxy note 7 leaked
According to these ‘official leaked photos’ of the new Galaxy Note 7, we can clearly see the presence of an USB-C port on the bottom. And although Samsung is not known for this USB standard, this new Note 7 family may bring it to life. Aside from that, we cannot spot a dual rear camera – as some rumors suggested.

Galaxy Note 7 Vs. iPhone 7 Plus – A Tough Battle

Knowing that the Galaxy Note 7 is probably the best iPhone 7 Plus competitors, this model must be special in order to win the hearts of the Samsung fans. The Galaxy Note 7 announcement and release data, on the other hand, could take place in early August according to some rumors. Logically, this is the time right before the arrival of the new iPhone 7 – and something that Samsung is looking forward as ‘the battle of the giant smartphones’ (also known as phablets).
Until then, we are waiting for the official graphic done by Samsung so that we know the real name of the Note model we are hoping to see at the end of the summer. It is up to Samsung to make things official and put an end to all the rumors tied with the name and the announcement date. source

HOW TO DOWNGRADE IOS 9.3.2 ON IPHONE, IPAD

#iOS932 #iOS10 – How To Downgrade iOS 9.3.2 On iPhone, iPad : How To Downgrade iOS 9.3.2 On iPhone, iPad : Owners of the iPhone, iPadand iPod touch all over the world, should be aware that Apple has released the latest version of iOS, version 9.3.2, which is an update for compatible devices.
With the worldwide developer conference justa few weeks away, this new version of iOS represents the latest in the development in the iOS operating system, ahead of the release of what people hope will be the release of iOS 10.
But, just because this is the latest version of Apple’s mobile OS that does not mean it will work efficiently will all iOS devices. Especially with older iPhones and iPads. So in this article, I’m going to tell you how to downgrade iOS 9.3.2 to 9.3.1.
Downgrade iOS 9.3.2 to iOS 9.3.1
Before I tell you how to downgrade, this article is for you if you have upgraded to iOS 9.3.2 by mistake or willingly and have noticed some performance issues with your iPhone or iPad after updating.
Good news! Here’s where I am going to share with you how to roll-back the update to iOS 9.3.1. As Apple is always improving the performance of iOS with updates, part of that focus is trying to attain efficiency and perforce on older devices. However, this is not always the case and if you are affected with performance issues here’s how to downgrade iOS 9.3.2.
iOS Downgrade Limitations
To start with, I must tell you that you will not be able to downgrade iOS any farther than 9.3.1, this is because Apple has become efficient when it comes to no longer signing older versions of its operating system. This means that iOS 9.3.1 is now the only version that is digitally authenticated by Apple’s servers.
It is also worth me mentioning that iOS 9.3.1 has a limited shelf life too, so if you wish to downgrade iOS 9.3.2 to the earlier version you should do that as soon as possible.
Also, if you have the need to jailbreak an iOS device, you should possibly rethink this because there is currently is no supported jailbreak for iOS 9.2 all the way upto 9.3.2. This means that downgrading iOS to 9.3.1 will not enable you to jailbreak. So before we begin the downgrade of iOS, make sure to back up your device, do this locally.
How to Downgrade iOS 9.3.2
At this point, it is worth me pointing out that you should follow each step to the letter, do not deviate at all!
1. You will need to get the iOS 9.2.1 IPSW file that corresponds with you device.
2. Next before you start to restore, there is some work to do on your device. Go to settings on the iPhone or iPad and find iCloud. Go to find my iPhone and disable the find my iPhone features.
3. Now connect your iPhone or iPad to a Mac or PC using the relevant sync cable for the device.
4. Now launch the latest version of iTunes and make sure your device is selected. Next select the summary tab, this will display lots of information about the connected device.
5. Now that you have finished this part and done some housekeeping on your phone or tablet, it is time to move forward and go through the restore process. If you’re using a computer running Windows, hold down the “Shift Key” and click on the restore iPhone button in iTunes.
Mac users should hold down the “Option/Alt key” at the same time as pressing the restore iPhone button in iTunes.
6. Next make sure you select the correct iOS 9.2.1 IPSW file for your device, remember you downloaded it in step 1, select it when prompted to do so. Next iTunes will now slowly walk you through a few different prompts, which form part part of the restore process.
iTunes will now take you through the process of downgrading iOS to iOS 9.3.1, and when complete, you will have a clean install of the older iOS. I hope this tutorial /guide was helpful to you. If you have any questions or would like to share your experiences please comment below. Source:Valuewalk

HOW TO USE YOUR BROKEN SMARTPHONE FROM A PC

#Smartphone #PC – How to use your broken smartphone from a PC : Unfortunately, smashing the screen of your precious smartphone is a common occurrence. If this has happened to you and you’ve gotten the famous spider-web on the unresponsive touchscreen, you don’t have to say goodbye to your device yet.
You can use  it from your PC. Here’s how.
How to recover data if your screen is broken but you can see the display
If you’ve broken your touch screen but the display is still working (you can see it) you can fix it by using a USB OTG (On The Go) and a mouse to connect to your device. A USB OTG connects mobile devices to other devices.
Basically, your Android device has a mini-USB and you need to connect it to the mouse that has a USB. The USB OTG connects these. If you need further information on USB OTGs, click the link below.
  • USB OTG: What is it and how to use it
Once you have the mouse connected, you can unlock your device whether you have a pattern, PIN or password. We recommend using passwords anyways because they are highly secure.
Now that your phone is unlocked, you can connect it to your computer and either transfer the data you need to your microSD memory or connect it directly to your PC and transfer the files there.
How to recover data if your screen is off
If you can’t see your screen, you might need to get a VNC program. There are plenty on the market and you should be sure to pick one that’s safe and free. These programs bring your Android interface onto your PC so you can control it from there.
In order to use these programs, you’ll need to download the program to your PC but also on your Android device. There are some paid programs out there too but usually include more features than this.
So if you want something more extensive you can grab one of these instead.
If you still can’t get your data
Getting your data off your phone by taking it to a shop that can fix it could be another solution. Yes, this option costs money but you’ll not only have your data but you’ll also have your phone fixed.
Make sure you ask around for a reputable repair shop. Once the phone has been repaired they can easily go in and steal your data. If you go to one of the big dealers you’ll probably pay more but you’ll also be less likely to get ripped off.Source: androidpit

THE NEW PLAYSTATION 4: CODE NAMED PLAYSTATION NEO

We’ve had this done in the past and this shouldn’t be a shock to anyone who currently owns a console, Sony is planning on releasing a new, upgraded version of the PlayStation 4, this time it’s different though, instead of upgrading the storage, Sony has left it untouched (as far as we know, for now).

An Upgraded PS4?

When it comes to hardware, things become outdated really fast, what could have been considered to be a high tier gaming console is simply not capable of keeping itself on par with modern games.
 Sure developers could tune down their games and that’s exactly what they’re going to do but if you believe your current console will become useless then we’ve got some good news for you, we know for now that games released towards the end of 2016 will have two different versions or modes, one for the original PS4 console and for the upgraded NEO, this is because PlayStation NEO brings several upgrade to the table allowing games to utilize the hardware, probably increasing the resolution and hopefully, the FPS.

What sort of upgrades are we talking about?

Well the fact that both Microsoft and Sony launched their systems with support for external hard drives takes one possible upgrade out of the equation, we may still see the NEO having higher storage but it’s not probable, simply because hard drives have become rather… cheap and anyone who’s running low on space can simply pick one up on any electronics shop and use that with their current consoles.
NEO itself is going to bring us a much more powerful CPU, GPU as well as RAM. The actual numbers for now are:
The Original PS4 PlayStation ‘NEO’
CPU 8 Jaguar Cores @ 1.6GHz 8 Jaguar Cores @ 2.1GHz
GPU AMD GCN, 18 CUs @ 800MHz Improved AMD GCN, 36 CUs @ 911MHz
Memory 8GB GDDR5, 176GB/s 8GB GDDR5, 218GB/s
These specifications aren’t high tier; sure they’re much better than what we already have, console upgrades aren’t generally a successful venture, Microsoft has steered clear of an upgrade to Xbox One but if the consumers end up buying the NEO, we can surely expect Microsoft to start working on an upgrade to Xbox One, if they haven’t done so already.

We can expect to see some sort of VR compatible games being released as well, but there have been no indications that owners of the current PS4 will be stripped of their favorite titles anytime soon so you’ll be able to enjoy VR no matter which version of the PS4 you own.

How will this effect future games?

Sony doesn’t have any plans to separate the two user bases, doing so would cost them quite a lot of loyal customers, players who prefer PCs already understand that they’ll have to upgrade to the latest hardware regularly if they wish to play all their favorite games as they’re released.
Console users on the other hand would be completely new to the idea that they’ll have to purchase a newer PS4 so soon after picking up the original model. We need to understand that the PlayStation 3 lasted nearly a decade whereas it hasn’t even been five years since the release of PlayStation 4, if this gamble works out we can expect to see a new era in console gaming.

But even after all the hardware upgrades that NEO will receive, it won’t be capable of rendering the same 4K, 60 FPS games that a modern gaming computer can, but that’s not even a fair comparison because the price tag for such a computer is enough to buy a couple of consoles from every manufacturer and still be left with spare cash.

NINTENDO PLANS TO RELEASE MOVIES WITHIN A FEW YEARS

Nintendo is in talks with various partners about developing movies and other video content based on its popular IP. In an interview with the Asahi Shimbun, CEO and president Tatsumi Kimishima says the company needs to invest in video production and wants to be successful on a global scale. Discussions appear to be in the early stages, but Kimishima wants films to be produced sooner than five years away.
It wouldn’t be the first time Nintendo has gotten involved in the world of film production; a much-maligned live-action Super Mario Bros. movie came out in 1993, and Japan saw the release of a somewhat more successful Animal Crossing CG animated film in 2006. Kimishima notes that the Super Mario Bros. project didn’t do very well, and says Nintendo is unlikely to pursue live-action films as part of this initiative.
The Wall Street Journal reported over a year ago that Netflix was working on a live-action series based on The Legend of Zelda, but Nintendo denied the report and nothing’s been heard on the subject since. When asked whether Nintendo would use Zelda or Mario in upcoming movies, Kimishima says “We’d like to use IP that is popular with everyone. I can’t say ‘it’ll be Mario’ — just that we’ll do things that people will be familiar with.” The CEO uses similar language to talk about Nintendo’s future smartphone games, though it’s confirmed that the next two will be based on Fire Emblem and Animal Crossing.
The most pressing launch in Nintendo’s immediate future is the upcoming NX console, however, which is coming in March but remains shrouded in mystery. “It’s something new,” according to Kimishima, who describes it as neither a Wii U or 3DS successor. “The hardware, the software lineup — it’s something I think I’d like to be able to play myself for the first time.”

Although the console will miss this year’s holiday shopping season, the March release date is designed to ensure that there’s enough software to play throughout the months following the launch, avoiding the drought that afflicted the Wii U’s first year. “[The NX offers] a new style of play, so I think it will have a bigger impact than the Wii U,” Kimishima says.

BEST UPCOMING SMARTPHONES IN 2016

Best Upcoming Smartphones In 2016 – The summer is the hottest period in the year – not only regarding the weather, but in the tech world as well. It is where most of the brands publish their new innovations. In the world of smartphones, we are seeing improvements every year.
But what does 2016 hide from us? Which ‘killer’ smartphones should we expect and prepare for?
We are listing the best upcoming smartphones to wait for in the next couple of months.

The OnePlus 3 (Release: June 2016)

OnePlus carved its way into the smartphone marketplace after the huge success with the OnePlus 2 and OnePlus X models. In reality, these affordable smartphones are packed with insane features that you wouldn’t expect for the price.
What started as a sales model only to people with an invite led OnePlus to become one of the greatest smartphone competitors on the marketplace. But what can we expect for the OnePlus 3 in June 2016?
Well, the rumors say that it will have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chip, a huge 3,500 mAh battery and a powerful 1920×1080 resolution display. Also, it will stick to the ‘budget-friendly’ principle, with a price of around 300 USD.

Nexus 5/6 2016 (Release: October 2016)

Google’s branded smartphone is getting an upgrade every year. The company announced to refresh the Nexus in October this year. After the success with the Nexus 7 and 9 tablets, Google has adopted a huge loyal audience to its stellar devices.
As you probably know, the Nexus is a flagship phone made by different suppliers but adopted under Google. And the rumors say that this year, Huawei may be making the new Nexus phones aside from HTC, the bestselling manufacturer for the Nexus devices.

The Android rumors for this smartphone do not say much – but we know that there must be a certain upgrade in its operating system. Google will be responsible for this.

iPhone 7 (Release: September 2016)

iPhone 7 has been among the hottest topics in the smartphone world. There have been tons of concepts and designs claimed as ‘leaked’ ones. However, one of the most credible ‘leaked photo’ of iPhone’s new design may be the one below:

As we can see, the shell is quite in the same shape as the iPhone 6 and 6s models. The antennas are gone, and the camera is somehow unified with the flash. The logo and iPhone text stay on the same positions.

For what’s on the inside, Apple already confirmed that they will ditch the headphone jack. This opens the gates for another technology – and we can’t help but wonder what it will bring to replace our favorite headphones.

Sony Xperia XA (Release Date TBA)

Although it will be a mid-range phone, the Xperia XA has already been presented at MWC. With a 5 inch screen, it competes with the iPhone SE. Also, it is packed with a quad-core processor with 2GB of RAM and works on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. Here it is below:

However, the release date for the legendary Xperia XA model is still ‘to be announced’. However, this model is known to be among the sleekest ones. It will have a display that stretches from edfe to edge and powerful features.

So, which phone are you waiting for the most? Are you excited about this year’s releases as much as we are?

NINTENDO PLUS SMARTPHONE CONCEPT: WANT TO PLAY ZELDA AND POKEMON ON ANDROID?

IPhone concept art and videos are two a penny on the web, but this Nintendo phone mock-up is quite something to behold. Dubbed the Nintendo Plus, this gaming smartphone concept takes a little bit of the slimline chic of Google’s Nexus range and combines it with a few design cues from Sony’s Xperia Play and the PSPGo to form the ultimate dream phone for Nintendo fans.
The stunning gallery of images shows the phone’s rotated dual-screen Nintendo DS mode, a kickstand for ‘classic’ gaming, a pair of HTC-style front-facing stereo speakers and a full suite of buttons – including the traditional ABXY set-up and four shoulder bumpers/triggers.
The highlight, however, comes in the form of two physical analogue sticks that turn this would-be creation from a frivolous, throwaway imagining into a code-red ‘take-my-money’ situation.
Sure, there are unofficial emulators out there capable of running ROMs on Android devices (which Nintendo isn’t a big fan of, by the way), but the idea of enjoyingNintendo classics from the Legend of Zelda, Pokémon, Mario and Metroid franchises on mobile, all with a pair of twin sticks? Where do I sign?

Aside from the Nintendo -specific hardware influences (which also includes a nifty ejectable stylus), Italian designer Giuseppe Avanzato has certainly considered the actual phone aspects of the device too in his Behance portfolio.

Based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow software, the Nintendo Plus would rock a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820, a 5.1in Full HD AMOLED screen, a 3000mAh battery and a 12-megapixel camera, all housed in a polycarbonate body.
In terms of gaming, the Plus would support native emulators for the nearly every Nintendo home console and handheld since the 8-bit NES up to the Nintendo DS.
Much like the Plus itself, the prospect of a Nintendomobile is currently just a fantasy, but the Kyoto giant is seemingly embarking on a new hardware strategy following the success of its social-networking Miitomo app.

With Nintendo‘s recent revelation that its next home console, the Nintendo NX, would be designed to synergise with “smart devices” and following the announcement that major Nintendo franchises such as Animal Crossing and Fire Emblem will be gracing smartphone screens in the near future, perhaps aNintendo smartphone like the Plus isn’t just a warp-pipe dream after all?

‘Star Wars Battlefront 2’ Arrives in 2017, Features Storylines From ‘New Movies’

Worry not, gamers – you won’t have to suffer from mediocre Star Wars Battlefront gameplay for much longer. During an earnings call on Tuesday, EA CFO Blake Jorgensen confirmed that Star Wars Battlefront 2 is on the way, and very soon. Jorgensen not only used the phrase “next year” in his Battlefront 2 announcement, but confirmed that EA is planning on releasing a new Star Wars game every year starting in 2017.
“Next year we’ll see Star Wars Battlefront back with bigger and better worlds, because we now have the new movies to work off [and] not just the historical movies that we used before,” said Jorgensen (h/t PC Gamer).
While it’s not certain (and probably unlikely) that EA will specifically release a new Battlefront game every year, 2017’s installment is set to receive a major upgrade if Jorgensen’s statement is to be trusted.
Last year’s Battlefront was a solid title but lacked depth and solo playability. Star Wars Battlefront 2 with The Force Awakens (and maybe Rogue One?!) storylines and characters would significantly expand its scope and win back some fans. Even just the addition of a legitimate single player campaign would greatly help EA’s cause.
The latest Star Wars Battlefront earned a 73 metascore on Metacritic, indicating mixed or average reviews. The consensus more or less stated that Battlefront is a good Star Wars game, but average multiplayer shooter. The franchise certainly has potential, though. The addition of Rey, Finn,  Kylo Ren and more is very welcome.

Still no Knights of the Old Republic 3, however, so none of this really matters. Just kidding. But seriously, can someone please make that fucking game already? Star Wars Battlefront 2 arrives sometime in 2017.

TITANFALL 2 WILL BE RELEASING SOMETIME THIS FALL

Titanfall debuted two years ago to good reception, but very quickly the player base dwindled down due to the game being exclusive to Xbox One and Xbox 360 on consoles. However, the sequel is now going multiplatform and it sounds like we will indeed be getting our hands on the game this year.
Titanfall 2 was officially announced not too long ago by EA and Respawn through a teaser trailer that promised more information and gameplay would be coming at E3, but we didn’t have any indication on a release window until now.
EA held their earnings’ meeting yesterday and in the report that came with it revealed that Titanfall would be something in fiscal Q3, which would mean anywhere from October to December.
This definitely puts the game in a crowded period for sure, with Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare and Modern Warfare Remastered, along with EA’s own Battlefield 1. According to GameSpot though, EA CEO Andrew Wilson is not concerned with cannibalizing sales between the two.

“This is a giant category in our industry–[a] $4.5 billion category. There’s a very broad and diverse set of players who play games in that category who are looking to fulfill different gameplay motivations. Some people play very quick-play, or something with more strategic play; some people want both in different contexts.
The result of that is that we feel we actually have a really strong position to deliver the broadest set of gameplay mechanics as it relates to [the] first-person shooter genre across the two titles and feel very confident that we are well-positioned to do very well in that category in the year.
Certainly you see the reception around Battlefield 1; we feel very good about that. The energy aroundTitanfall 2 is also building very nicely. We look forward to showing you more of both of those titles at EA Play in June.”

It certainly will be a busy gaming season coming up later this year, so it will be interesting to see how Titanfall2 looks when it is finally shown off at EA Play next month.

iOS 9.3.2 Beta 4 Update Release Date Leaks

Currently, the forth beta iOS 9.3.2 is available for testing to public testers and novelty users and it supposedly comes with many bug fixes as well as with the ability to use Low Power Mode and Night Shift simultaneously.
This release is part of a series of update releases that came in the past few weeks beginning with the iOS 9.3.2 beta launched on the 6th of April. The purpose of the first beta was bug fixing and improving performance relating to the iOS 9.3
Other issues that were solved by this beta was a lag experienced by iPhone 6S users when the activated Quick Actions in landscape mode.
The second beta came after a week but it was very subtle about the changes, although, some phone users reported that they could enable Low Power Mode and Night Shift at the same time
The third beta appeared to be just as uneventful as the previous one. It had about 32 MB and had the number 13F65.
The last and forth beta version will cover a variety of bug issues related to the Game Center. One of those bugs rendered a white screen at some point, and reportedly, with this problem now fixed, users will be able to read anything from web pages too e-books at night without much difficulty and without using the same amount of power as before.
Before this last beta, users had to rely on just one of the following options: Low Power Mode and Night Shift because the system would disable one automatically is the other one was turned on. Now, because of the update they can be used at the same time.

Anybody can now go to the site and download the beta for use but know that you need to pay for the account to get full access to it.

Fallout 4: Survival Mode Available for Xbox One and PlayStation 4

Fallout 4 was one of the most expected games out there, but it didn’t take too long for a good part of the players to stop playing it. However, Bethesda is trying to regain fans’ attention to its game by releasing new patches and DLCs.
The Fallout 4: Patch 1.5 has been released for Xbox One and PlayStation 4, which brings the Survival Mode. The new Survival Mode will make your life tough in Fallout 4, as you will need to manage your resources and use a strategy against monsters. In addition, you will notice that in this mode, the game will become more realistic, as you will find resources much harder and the damage that you receive from monster will be highly increased.
At the same time, the fast travel feature is disabled, which means that you will need to walk around in the wasteland on foot. The next DLC that Bethesda will release for Fallout 4 is named “Far Harbor” and it will be the biggest DLC that they will be brought for this game.
Fallout 4 fans will need to understand that Bethesda is not only releasing new content for this game, but the developers are also fixing bugs and other issues that users report. It seems that the game is not as bug-free as developers would have wanted and there are still lots of issues annoying players.

Adblock and Adblock Plus Available on Microsoft Edge

Good news for users of the Edge browser on Microsoft! As it seems, they will be able to use the AdBlock and the AdBlock Plus services and download them from the Windows Store. This is a great move, since fans of Microsoft will now get the chance to surf the web just as they want to and to eliminate or simply control the ads that appear to them.
Back in March, Microsoft released some browser extensions for Edge, but only to testers, leading the way to the release of AdBlock, together with some other extensions: the Microsoft Translator, Mouse Gestures and a Reddit extension. All of them were available for manual installation, and bonus, they are supported by Google Chrome too. In fact, this was another good move from Microsoft, who allowed developers to move their Chrome extensions on Edge too. But there’s even more good news there! Developers were and are currently able to create their own types of extensions.
This situation is favorable for Chrome and Firefox too, who might have been holding some new items compatible with this feature, and now they can make them widely available for the public. Even though the AdBlock and AdBlock Plus are designed by different companies, they are still the most successful tools for blocking ads available today – only in Chrome, AdBlock is used by 40 million users! Currently, only those who are using Windows 10 will be able to enjoy the new extensions, but soon they will be available for everybody.
Moreover, the company announced that later this year, they will also release other extensions, such as Amazon, Evernote or LastPass ones. They also plan to keep testing the already released ones and improve them as soon as they see how they work and how users are satisfied.

Grand Theft Auto 6: Should we really be expecting a new game?

Sure it’s been a few years since the last installment in the Grand Theft Auto series, but if we look at the bigger picture, computer games are becoming more complex, their business models have changed and we’re getting less major releases or sequels than we were a decade ago.
What existed back then were expansion packs but barely any expansion packs existed for action games, most expansion packs belonged to the real time strategy genre or simulation games, oh boy were there a lot of Sims expansion packs (there still are!)

Grand Theft Auto: How it is right now

On the 3rd of May, Rockstar had an announcement for the newest Adversary mode, In & Out.
This wasn’t the only event or new content that has been added to the game, we’ve had quite a lot of different content being added it to the game quite regularly, whether it’s new customizable cars or entire game modes, Grand Theft Auto V has been a splendid game for everyone who’s made the purchase.
Whether you own it for the freedom in Story Mode or to team up with your friends in Multiplayer, one thing can be said for sure; you’ll be enjoying yourself.
On the opposite spectrum of things, people have certainly had their complaints about the game, we mentioned the lack of co-op capabilities for Story Mode and that’s not a good thing because we’re currently living in an age where more games are offering people the ability to team up, from survival games like Don’t Starve, releasing Don’t Starve Together; to open world, GTA-like games such as Saint’s Row, co-op capability is definitely becoming the norm.
At the end of the day though, we can simply look at the feedback and know for sure that even though the game could have been better, it has surpassed its predecessors; even after moving away from the original GTA spirit.

When can we expect a sequel?

Active development for GTA V has slowed down, fans aren’t expecting major content to be added anytime soon, as far as DLC is concerned, we didn’t get much single player content at all.
So now that a few years have passed, what can we expect to happen?
Surely Rockstar Games has a new title on their mind, the Grand Theft Auto series has been their bread and butter and looking at how GTA V was announced, unless there’s another leak from a re-seller, the official announcement will only take place once Rockstar is completely sure when the game will be finished, let’s not forget how the PC version was delayed quite a few times before finally being released.
As for what we can expect, it all depends on what the technology at the time allows Rockstar to do, the only reason they were able to do three different characters in such a huge world is because of the long period of development after the previous GTA installment, we can surely hope the next game to have a larger world, even if it’s not larger in size it will most definitely be larger and more diverse in content.
It’s all speculations for the time being, feel free to let us know what you think GTA 6, GTA VI?? will or will not have, which cities it will be based in and whether or not we’ll still have multiple characters.

GTA 5 Online Success Won’t Delay GTA 6 Release

Many speculate that the highly successful GTA 5 Online installment that brought Rockstar 500 million dollars may be the reason for delaying the development of GTA 6. Here is a bit of info on how things are going for the next GTA installment so far
GTA Online Success
The Online component of GTA 5 has filled Rockstar’s pocket with approximately 500 million dollars. This new source of revenue is also keeping the company from developing single player DLCs, instead opting to improve what already is in the game.
The dominant motivation for the franchise makers is, of course, the financial one and since GTA 5 Online is still raking in money, there is no need to develop GTA 6 just yet. They can take their time and make it absolutely exceptional.
Development Underway
Some have suggested that most of the Rockstar staff is currently busy developing new content for GTA 5 so the necessary amount of staff for another installment is not available. Others have suggested that the situation is completely different and that there is already a team working on the basics of GTA 6 and that there’s even a map being developed for it, as well.
GTA – Bin Laden Link
One of the strangest rumors out there about GTA 6 is that one of its characters will be the terrorist Osama bin Laden and it was also suggested that players may have to fight him and other known terrorists.
Bully and Manhunt
These two Rockstar games are both violent and original and have been based on things that are surrounded by controversy in general, so they may be an indicator that Rockstar won’t shy away from including aspects of the 9/11 attack or terrorists in their games. On the other hand, the 9/11 events were something that was treated respectfully by Rockstar in the past.
Rockstar Rumors
There are many rumors surrounding the next GTA 6 and they multiply by the week, as nothing is confirmed nor denied by Rockstar. Some of these suggest that the next GTA will be set in Tokyo (which will be the first time a GTA will be set outside the US), that there will be a female character voiced by actress Eva Mendes, that there will be virtual reality features included in the game and that players will be able to teleport themselves from one place on the map to another.

HTC One M8 and One M9 Delays in Getting Android 6.0 Marshmallow Update

It seems that the release of Android Marshmallow 6.0 will be delayed for HTC One M8 and One M9 in the AT&T network. As expected, this caused a lot of disappointment in those who use these phones and who were anxiously waiting for the new OS.
The manager did not give any reason for this unexpected delay, and all we know is that the two companies are in close coordination. For now, they did not release any official date when should we expect the update, though they did offer a vague indication regarding the “coming weeks”.
Most likely, this lack of information will make the subscribers even more angry, especially since the users of other networks, like T-Mobile, Verizon and Sprint already received the Android 6.0 ever since February. This makes it even harder for the AT&T subscribers, if many of them want to test out and to experience the new Marshmallow on their HTC phones.
Truth be told, there are some interesting updates in the 6.0 version of the Android. The security updates are perhaps the more important ones, but users will also receive the “Doze” app, which will prolong your battery life. Moreover, you get better app permissions and on Tap Google Now.
Most likely the entire issue stems from certification problems. Normally, carriers have to do their own check-ups before rolling out any updates on the OS, just to make sure that people won’t have any problems after they install the update. However, it seems that the two companies are working closely in order to make this possible as soon as they can, so the only thing to do is to wait and see how soon the update will hit the phones.

WhatsApp is Working on a Desktop Client

Lately, rumors have been soaring that Facebook will be developing a WhatsApp version that will run on a native desktop client for Windows and Mac as a means to further expand the usage of its very popular messaging system.
According to images tweeted by WABetaInfo, a WhatsApp version is being developed for several desktop operating systems like Mac and Windows. However, the text in the photos is in Japanese and some are still in the process of translating phrases from it that might reveal more details about WhatApp’s new venture.
Nothing related to the leaks has been confirmed so far about the parent company even though users have asked for more information and details repeatedly, and, as a result, there’s no way of knowing if a WhatsApp app will be released at all for desktop.
Some user have even wondered why would WhatsApp even do this, as it already has an online variant that works wonderfully in terms of sending messages and images to friends. All you have to do is use a browser and that’s it!
Although a desktop version might include features like voice and video calls, which is something that has been rumored to be included in the next WhatsApp update for mobile phones.
But that can be easily achieved online as well. So far, the only advantage a desktop version might have in comparison to the online version is that it would remove the need to open a browser and keep it open for the duration of the conversation and it would also eliminate the need to scan the WhatsApp Web QR code that’s required to connect your account to the browser.
This move would be better suited for messaging apps such as Skype, Facebook Messenger or Slack.
At this point, given the ever-expanding plans Facebook has for WhatApp, it’s hard to see how well this will play out in the future for Messenger.

Adblock Plus Releasing Flattr Plus – Automatically Donate Money

Users will have the option to automatically give money to website owners who provide articles, music or videos. Flattr Plus is a new product that people will use to monetize online content, but its stable release will be available before the end of 2016. The beta version will roll out “early this summer.”
Here’s an interesting partnership between the creator of Adblock Plus – an ad blocking tool that was released in 2006 and which has been downloaded 500 million times since then, and Peter Sunde and Linus Olsson, the creators of Flattr, content-funding tool which can be used by people to donate real money to websites, in exchange for their content. The latter was released in 2010 and in December that year, it was introduced on WikiLeaks, but then it was replaced by PayPal, MasterCard, and Visa.
The two partners will release Flattr Plus, a tool that will be used by grateful people who want to show their appreciation for content they consume. They will be able to set a monthly budget and every month, they will make automatic payments to website owners. Flattr Plus will determine which website deserves to receive a larger percentage, based on the number of visits to that website, but the budget can be increased or decreased anytime.
The beta version of Flattr Plus will try to figure out how much time users spend on a certain website, how far they scroll, and the program will “solve the challenges of frictionless payments,” as Adblock Plus and Flattr claim.
Flattr’s Linus Olsson explained that “The idea of great content has gotten lost in clickbait headlines and slideshow articles,” and that “If we want to reverse that trend, we need a funding model that is based on engagement and attention rather than mere visits. I am convinced that people’s growing willingness to support great content is the next big change for the Web. And it will happen if we provide them with a simple, easy-to-use solution that allows them to fund the art, music, and journalism they love. So that’s what we are building.”
Website creators can continue to use existing methods to monetize their content – by placing ads or being paid through paypal, and they won’t lose anything if they’ll sign up for Flattr Plus. In fact, their visitors will appreciate their hard work and reward them for what they’re posting.

Moto G4 2016 Performance, Camera and Battery Leaks

In May, Motorola will launch the Moto G (fourth generation) – or the Moto G4 – in India. They have already released some teasers for the next smartphone. They posted some pictures on Twitter with the hashtag #Missing, together with some situations that seem not to happen if the user had a Moto G4. They show other smartphones turning off suddenly because of the low battery, taking bad quality photos because of the slow autofocus or hanging during video games.
However, there are no actual information releases about this G4 in particular, though we will get more teasers for sure. The team should also release another version, the G4 Plus, which features an additional fingerprint sensor, besides other goodies we will find in G4 too.
Last week, the Motorola team in India sent out some invitations for an event they will be hosting in New Delhi on the 17th of May. Though they did not say anything about what will happen exactly at that event, but everybody is expecting them to launch the smartphone there first. One of the main reasons that could make people believe that is the fact that they also launched the third generation of the smartphone in India first, before everywhere else on Earth.
Of course, there is something we should take into account when talking about this release: Lenovo plans to change the Moto brand and replace it with “Moto by Lenovo”, and this means that most likely, the fourth generation of the smartphone will be released under this brand. According to the leaks, the phone will have an octa-core processor, 16 GB of internal storage, a 5.5-inch display (which is also full HD), 2 GB RAM and a rear camera that features 13 MP. The G4 Plus will have a 16 MP camera and a fingerprint sensor besides all the other features.

WhatsApp Video Calling For iOS to be Available

WhatsApp has refused to confirm or infirm the addition of the Video Calling feature in the near future, although the first clues about its arrival appeared in December 2015, when a German website has posted screenshots showing an ongoing call on an iOS device. We haven’t heard any new information until a few days ago, when @WABetaInfo has revealed some screenshots of the latest beta version of WhatsApp for iOS, which contains a new “Video Call” icon located at the top right of an open chat window.
Currently, the chat screen shows a voice call button and the profile image, but soon, the video call option will be present. Phone Radar has reported that this function will be activated in version 2.16.3.525 of WhatsApp for iOS, but users who will want to install 2.16.3.523 (beta) are required to have an iPhone that is jailbroken.
Soon, a native desktop application for Windows and Mac OS X will be released as well, and this information was also revealed by @WABetaInfo. The guys behind this Twitter account have posted two screenshots with a “Download for Windows” button and “Download for Mac OS X” button for native desktop apps for these two operating systems. Again, WhatsApp refuses to talk about the possibility to launch a native desktop application for Windows PC and Mac OS X, as well as support for sharing zip files.
The latest stable WhatsApp version for iOS is 2.16.2 and can be downloaded from iTunes. The installation file has a size of 59.1MB and brings end-to-end encryption for messages, photos, videos, documents, voice messages and calls. WhatsApp has introduced this type of security measure in order to protect users’ data, preventing hackers and the government to access their conversations, as they will be accessed only by the sender and recipient, using an encryption key.
