HTC One M8 and One M9 Delays in Getting Android 6.0 Marshmallow Update

It seems that the release of Android Marshmallow 6.0 will be delayed for HTC One M8 and One M9 in the AT&T network. As expected, this caused a lot of disappointment in those who use these phones and who were anxiously waiting for the new OS.
The manager did not give any reason for this unexpected delay, and all we know is that the two companies are in close coordination. For now, they did not release any official date when should we expect the update, though they did offer a vague indication regarding the “coming weeks”.
Most likely, this lack of information will make the subscribers even more angry, especially since the users of other networks, like T-Mobile, Verizon and Sprint already received the Android 6.0 ever since February. This makes it even harder for the AT&T subscribers, if many of them want to test out and to experience the new Marshmallow on their HTC phones.
Truth be told, there are some interesting updates in the 6.0 version of the Android. The security updates are perhaps the more important ones, but users will also receive the “Doze” app, which will prolong your battery life. Moreover, you get better app permissions and on Tap Google Now.
Most likely the entire issue stems from certification problems. Normally, carriers have to do their own check-ups before rolling out any updates on the OS, just to make sure that people won’t have any problems after they install the update. However, it seems that the two companies are working closely in order to make this possible as soon as they can, so the only thing to do is to wait and see how soon the update will hit the phones.
