It’s safe to say that fans of The Sims 4 want to play the game on their PS4 and Xbox One and are impatiently waiting for the console version of the game to be released.
Unfortunately, it seems that they’ll have to extend their patience and wait a little bit longer since The Sims 4 forPS4 and Xbox One won’t be launched any time soon.
There are several reasons for this, and one of these is that the developers are having trouble porting the game over to the console version.
While this is frustrating for a lot of people, it can also be seen as good news since it’s a sign that Maxis and Electronic Arts (EA) are taking their responsibility seriously.
Instead of rushing to release a console version just to appease the fans, they’re taking the time to create a game that has a smooth gameplay and is free from lags, crashes, and other bugs – basically what everyone should demand from a game developer and publisher.
There’s also a rumor that EA is delaying the release of The Sims 4 console version because it wants to launch the game with all the DLCs and updates. The company reportedly wants to do this to increase the game’s likeability and encourage those who have the PC version to buy the console version.
This definitely makes sense; after all, those who are enjoying all the wonderful features of the PC version wouldn’t want to purchase the PS4 or Xbox One version if it means going back to a bare-bones sim world.
This is only a rumor but, if it turns out to be true, fans will have to wait until the last DLC is released before they can enjoy The Sims 4 on PS4 and Xbox One. And, since there’s no telling when the last DLC would be released, it may mean that it would be months or even years before anyone could see a console version of the game.
This is heartbreaking news for fans but, while waiting for the TS4 PS4 and Xbox One version, they can console themselves by focusing on the soon-to-be-released restaurant game pack.
The video trailer for the new game pack shows people sitting in a restaurant with a waiter in a red uniform taking orders, while accidental leaks from the Maxis developer has hinted that the new gameplay may allow sims to buy their own restaurant.
